
MATTHEW CORDONE, AIA
Principal
Mr. Cordone holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Wentworth
Institute of Technology in Boston. He is licensed to practice architecture in New
York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. He is a member of American Institute of
Architects, Society of Architecture Historians, National Council of Architectural
Registration Boards, US Green Building Council, Connecticut Trust for
Preservation and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Mr. Cordone has
been a guest lecturer on topics ranging from residential design and building
envelopes to urban planning.

KRISTINE MAGLIANO
Associate, Chief Architectural Designer | 2017
Kristine joined the collaboration in 2015 and advanced to full-time Associate in 2017. She now serves as the Chief Architectural Designer, directing the firm’s design vision for a wide range of projects. She combines creativity, technical expertise, and a thoughtful approach to every stage of the design process. Kristine began her career in landscape architecture while earning her degree at the New York City College of Technology. Over seven years, she contributed to major parks, plazas, and urban developments across the U.S. and India. This unique background shaped her belief that landscape and architecture are deeply connected. Today, she uses this dual lens to blend interior and exterior environments, from complex apartment renovations to building additions. Kristine excels in technical execution and architectural detailing. She is also highly skilled in Construction Administration, serving as a trusted bridge between clients and contractors to ensure design intent translates to the field. Her leadership and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in shaping the collaboration’s architectural work and delivering innovative, client-focused solutions.

ELVIA OPAT
Project Manager| 2025
Elvia holds a degree in architecture and interior design from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina. After relocating to New York in 2023, she joined the firm in 2025. She has more than 10 years of professional experience in architectural design, interior design, construction documentation, and project coordination for residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail projects throughout South America and the United States. Her experience includes New York City permitting, code compliance, multidisciplinary coordination, and the preparation of construction documents. Elivia is currently pursuing architectural licensure in the state of New York.

SAMANTHA BREEDEN
Bookkeeper | 2020
With a strong eye for detail and a passion for organization, Sam serves as the Bookkeeper at MCPLLC. She is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting support, and financial reporting. Sam supports the architects and project managers throughout every stage of the design and budget process.
