MATTHEW CORDONE, AIA

Principal

Mr. Cordone holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Wentworth
Institute of Technology in Boston. He is licensed to practice architecture in New
York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. He is a member of American Institute of
Architects, Society of Architecture Historians, National Council of Architectural
Registration Boards, US Green Building Council, Connecticut Trust for
Preservation and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Mr. Cordone has
been a guest lecturer on topics ranging from residential design and building
envelopes to urban planning.

KRISTINE MAGLIANO

Associate | 2017

Kristine joined the collaboration in 2015. Kristine was hired full time as an associate in 2017. She is the chief architecture designer for the collaboration.

LAUREL C. GAFFNEY, P.E.

Structural Engineer | 2019

Laurel joined the collaboration to add expertise in structural engineering design. Laurel not only provides structural engineering, she is a crucial part of the collaborative’s design process.

SOKOL BINAKAJ, AIA

Project Manager | 2017

In 2012, Sokol moved to Colorado to pursue his B.S. in Architecture and Planning from University of Colorado Denver. During his education, he was part of the Design-Build team. After weeks of designing, planning & volunteering, him and his team traveled to Nicaragua to finish Chusli Pre-School as volunteers. In 2017, joined Matthew Cordone’s team as the project manager. Sokols goal is to create spaces that can spark an idea, move and calm someone while sustaining a human-centered design.
